Refund and Returns Policy

At String Scape, we’re doing something we’ve never done before… a complete Final Clearance Sale. Every item is offered at its lowest price ever, and all sales are final.

All items sold during this sale are Final Sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds. We strongly recommend checking the size chart carefully before placing your order.

Items purchased during our clearance sale are sold on an as-is, final sale basis. This means:

We cannot accept returns for minor imperfections such as small stains, loose threads, minor discoloration, or manufacturing inconsistencies that do not affect the wearability of the item.

Given the nature of clearance pricing, we ask for your understanding that these items may have minor aesthetic variations that would typically be acceptable in regular retail.

However, we stand behind quality. If an item has a significant defect that renders it unwearable (major tears, severe staining, structural damage), please reach out with photos and we’ll review on a case-by-case basis.

EXCHANGES

We understand sizing can be tricky, so we do offer exchanges under the following conditions:

  • Exchange requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in original packaging with tags attached
  • An exchange processing fee of ₹150 per item applies, which covers handling
  • The customer is fully responsible for shipping the item back to our warehouse safely and securely. String Scape is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit back to us
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability — since we are running a clearance sale, sizes and styles may sell out at any time. If your requested size/style is unavailable at the time of processing, the exchange request will be closed and no further action will be taken
  • Exchanges will be processed only after the returned item is received and inspected at our warehouse

SHIPPING

  • Free shipping on all prepaid orders. (DURING FINAL SALE)
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable for all orders, regardless of the reason for return or cancellation.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been picked up by our delivery partner. Since all items are Final Sale, cancellations after delivery are not accepted. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

Return to Origin (RTO) Handling:

In cases where a prepaid order is marked as “Return to Origin” due to non-acceptance or failed delivery attempts, a ₹150 RTO processing fee will be deducted from your refund.

This fee covers the logistics cost incurred in handling the return shipment back to our warehouse.

Refund calculation: Refund amount = Order value − ₹150 RTO fee

The remaining amount will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
In the case of a Return to Origin (RTO), refunds will be processed only after the shipment has been physically received and verified at our facility. Refunds will not be issued under any other circumstance.

INVENTORY & ORDER CANCELLATION BY STRING SCAPE

As this is a clearance sale with limited stock, we carry out our best efforts to maintain accurate inventory across all channels. However, in the rare event that one or more items in your order are found to be out of stock after your order is placed, the following policy applies.

Single item orders: If the ordered item is unavailable, the order will be cancelled and a full refund of the amount paid will be issued.

Combo / multi-pack orders (Prepaid): If one or more items in a combo order are unavailable, we will not cancel the entire order. Instead, we will email you at the address provided at checkout with the option to replace the unavailable item with another available style of the same category. You will have 48 hours to respond.

If you choose a replacement, your order will be fulfilled in full and shipped. If you decline or do not respond within 48 hours, the unavailable item will be removed from your order and the remaining items will be shipped. The refund for the unavailable item will be calculated at the effective per-unit combo price paid, not the individual MRP.

Example: If you purchased a 3-pack Supima for ₹1,629 and one item is unavailable, the refund issued will be ₹543 (₹1,629 ÷ 3). The combo benefit on the remaining two items is retained and no additional charges apply.

Combo / multi-pack orders (COD): If one or more items in a combo order are unavailable, we will email you with the option to replace the unavailable item. You will have 48 hours to respond. If you do not respond or decline, the entire order will be cancelled. No payment having been collected, no refund is applicable.

You will be notified via email as soon as possible in all such cases. No further compensation will be applicable beyond the refund amounts described above.

DAMAGES & WRONG ITEMS

If you receive an item with a manufacturing defect, physical damage, or an item different from what you ordered, please contact us at support@stringscape.co within 24 hours of delivery.

⚠️ Claims without an unboxing video will not be entertained, no exceptions. Please ensure you record a clear, uninterrupted video from the moment you open the package. This is mandatory for all damage and wrong item claims to be processed.

We recommend not accepting deliveries with visibly damaged or unsealed packaging in the first place.
